Meridian requires all residents to have all utilities scheduled to be transferred in their name before move in day. For your convenience a list of companies and contact information have been provided.
Meridian recommends that all of our potential tenants research their property to confirm any city violations have been addressed prior to moving in. If you have questions about your property please contact our office.
This disclosure is to enable you, a prospective resident, to make informed decisions when choosing a rental property. The Broker Disclosure form shows that Meridian is a limited agent for the owner. Click on the document for more information.
Missouri Landlord/Tenant law requires landlords to provide Lead Based Paint information for homes built before 1978. Click on the document for more information.
As of August 1st 2024 KCMO passed a new ordinance regarding source of income protections. If you are interested in a property to rent in Kansas City please note that we can no longer provide rental criteria until residents have viewed the property and paid the application fee. This ordinance is meant to protect residents from being discriminated against for source of income, however it does prohibit us from assisting our tenants up front with rental qualification questions before fees are paid. For more information click below.
Please note that Meridian requires all residents to maintain renters insurance. Most car insurance companies can add this coverage to your policy. For more information or referrals please call our office!
